Fashion vs. Style

I like it. I never thought of it like that but it's true; fashion is more of a fad. What's in one day may be out the next. Style is deeper than fashion because it goes beyond clothing to the way you carry yourself and the confidence you possess. My style is changing as I'm becoming more confident in who I am as a woman. I'm not afraid to wear something because it may be "out of style." Even the way I'm wearing my hair now is an expression of my newly-found self confidence. But beyond clothing and hairstyle choices, I'm getting to the point in my life where other's opinions do not dictate how I feel about myself and I'm not trying to please everyone. It's been liberating and it feels great!
