Dallas/Fort Worth Visit

The past few days I have been in the DFW area attending the National Stutterers Association Conference and visiting dear friends. I had a blast! The conference was very enlightening. The experience was one that I will never forget. Just to see so many people openly stuttering while speaking to large groups of people and not being ashamed was absolutely inspiring. I had the privilege of hearing personal stories that largely resembled mine and it felt good. And everyone was so supportive and encouraging and I learned so much that I will share at a later time.

I also got the chance to visit some of my favorite people and spots in Dallas.

My good friend Sarah and I celebrating our belated birthdays together  with a Hello Kitty cake!

The best frozen yogurt ever!                                                            We waited in line for 30 minutes for the famous In N Out Burger. It was worth it!
The best cupcakes from Sprinkles!
Red velvet yum!

We went salsa dancing at Gloria's to celebrate Brittany's birthday.

 Ha, we so gangsta!

I had such a good time and was reminded of how much I miss Dallas and all of my friends there!
Great mini-vacation.
