Francesca Battistelli is a great artist that is transcended the Christian world. You can hear her music on ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Jon & Kate Plus 8, MTV's The Hills, and many other television and radio programs. She even had a girl come up to her after a concert and told her she had heard "It's Your Life" on Jon & Kate Plus 8 finale show, listened to her CD, and was led to Christ. Isn't that amazing?!
One reason I love her is that she is so authentic and not afraid to be who she is. You can hear that in the song "Free to Be Me." She knows that God loves her even though she isn't perfect. Something I really needed to hear and believe for myself.
Since her first album, My Paper Heart, released back in 2008, Francesca has undergone a lot of life changes. From getting married and having her first child, her life has changed and it is definitely reflected in her latest release, Hundred More Years.
