Dallas/Fort Worth Visit

The past few days I have been in the DFW area attending the National Stutterers Association Conference and visiting dear friends. I had a blast! The conference was very enlightening. The experience was one that I will never forget. Just to see so many people openly stuttering while speaking to large groups of people and not being ashamed was absolutely inspiring. I had the privilege of hearing personal stories that largely resembled mine and it felt good. And everyone was so supportive and encouraging and I learned so much that I will share at a later time.

I also got the chance to visit some of my favorite people and spots in Dallas.

We went salsa dancing at Gloria's to celebrate Brittany's birthday.

 I had such a good time and was reminded of how much I miss Dallas and all of my friends there!

I Miss Girl Groups!

These were my girls! I heard this on the radio this morning and was too krunk lol. Can you believe what they were wearing, especially Left Eye?!?! What happened to the girl groups? Back in the 90's we had En Vogue, Salt N Pepa, Total, SWV, The Spice Girls and so many more. Then we had Destiny's Child, the last one...
